The mission of the Spoken Soul Festival is to support women artists. An all-female production team creates opportunities to feature a variety of literary, performing and visual women artists within Miami Dade County. Artists selected to join the sisterhood of alumnae are commissioned to create new works, provided with free professional development workshops and marketing assistance, and compensated to participate in showcases. Our diverse and multicultural team of women also produces free events and outreach programs in the greater community where the arts are used to collectively and creatively cultivate civic engagement.
