Human Resources Manager - Full-Time

Summary: The Human Resources Manager assists the Director of Human Resources with the daily operation of the Human Resources Department, including recruitment and screening of new applicants, maintaining accurate records for all employees, and developing retention and engagement techniques across departments. Will assist in benefits enrollment, staff recognition, new hire orientation, training and other HR functions relating to museum staff. This position works closely with the Director of Human Resources and involves regular communication with MODS team members to ensure consistency within company policies.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Communications with four years of Human Resources or related experience. Non-profit setting preferred. Must be outgoing, enjoy working with people and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Must enjoy recruiting. Experience in leadership, training, and presentations to groups is a must. Will have a friendly, mature attitude and the ability to build relationships and work with people from various demographics and diverse backgrounds. Requires strong language and communication skills (written and oral). Must have an enthusiastic and positive attitude toward helping others and the ability to work independently and on a team. Must be dependable and available to work a flexible schedule, including frequent presence on site, on weekends and as special events might require. Computer literacy and experience in various software applications are necessary; ADP experience is a plus. Driver’s license needed for offsite activities
