ARTECHOUSE is seeking a dynamic individual to be part of the team that is the public face of ARTECHOUSE in Miami. Both full- and part-time positions are available. ARTECHOUSE is the leading American innovative art space that is dedicated to curating, showcasing and producing experiential and technology driven works by new media artists. ARTECHOUSE first opened its doors in Washington, DC, in June 2017 and has since captivated a global audience making headlines in New York Times, BBC, USA Today, National Geographic, CNN, Washington Post and numerous other national and international media outlets as the premier contemporary art space. ARTECHOUSE will open in Miami November 2018.
About the Job:
*Greet all visitors & ensure each has a positive experience while visiting
*Learn and efficiently operate point of sale ticketing software (Fareharbor)
*Manage crowd control and visitor traffic flow with the ability to anticipate opportunities to assist visitors and allow for as smooth an operation as possible
*Answer ARTECHOUSE ticketing and contact form email inquiries
*Educate people about ARTECHOUSE's mission and current installation
*Embody the values of ARTECHOUSE in every interaction with guests
*Give welcome and introductory talk for exhibitions
*Engage in conversation with visitors about their experience and the art
*Both full- and part-time positions available
