Job Description:

The Arts & Business Council is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Miami Arts Marketing Project. We are leading the movement to build a sustainable cultural ecosystem through advancing high-impact partnerships between business, entrepreneurs and the arts. For over 35 years, we have played a leading role developing programs that bring together business and arts for effective and mutually beneficial outcomes. We currently work with 500+ arts groups and artists. 
Miami Arts Marketing Project is a signature program of the Arts & Business Council and is a high impact series empowering the marketing, communications and corporate outreach capabilities of South Florida's arts organizations and creative companies. It’s a collaborative and educational experience like no other. In a sign of the times, our 2021 MAMP series will be on zoom and include our popular MAMP Labs and Max MAMP sessions.
 Our ideal candidate has a proven record of running successful events and is excited to interact with our artists, arts groups and corporate partners to build and strengthen Miami Arts Marketing Project. You will be building relationships, developing partner opportunities and working with our team to deliver meaningful experiences.
  • Work with CEO on all logistics for the Miami Arts Marketing Project series
  • Work with steering committee to develop and implement MAMP LABs
  • Work with session leaders to develop and implement Max MAMP sessions
  • Work with Marketing Committee to design and implement marketing strategy for the series including graphic design, social media and website promotions
  • Connect regularly to engage and manage MAMP committees
  • Work with top arts institutions to develop MAMP Breakfast Club
  • Work with Sponsors Committee to implement sponsor outreach for series and related programs
  • Maintain and manage registration database
  • Administration and other tasks as needed
  • Track record designing successful events, conference or workshop series
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the skills required to handle all tasks associated with planning and implementing a multi-level series
  • Marketing and outreach skills to promote the series
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with self-discipline and capacity to work independently
  • Experience working with volunteers and committees
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and follow through and meet deadlines
  • Competency in office software including Microsoft Office word and excel
  • Experience planning and implementing events, conference or series
  • Experience working in the arts or creative ecosystem
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) a plus
This is a part time contractor position. 40 to 50 hours per month.  Mobile work with a few in person days. Hours are flexible. Pay $20 per hour.
