The Outreach and Field Trip Manager will work under the supervision of the Director of Educational Programs and has direct oversight of programs focused on serving audiences both on and off site through programs that align with shared missions and areas of museum focus in addition to establishing new programmatic revenue streams. Examples include (but are not limited to): Scouting partnerships, overnight programs, connections with community organizations, aligning community partners with established program offerings, and development of new programs. Additionally, the Outreach and Field Trip Manager will aid with the development and lead the implementation of a strategy for reservations for outreach, field trips, and other educational programs. The Outreach and Field Trip Manager will directly supervise the Reservations team.

Work will include time within an open office area, on the floor leading and participating in programs, and within the local community. Occasional exposure to outdoor activities may be requested. Weekend and evening work in alignment with programs is sometimes required. Staying overnight at the museum in alignment with the Overnight Adventures program is required on select nights.
