Job Description:

The Village of Pinecrest is seeking an Operations Manager to manage all aspects of the beautiful and historic Pinecrest Gardens.  This is a highly responsible position reporting to the Pinecrest Gardens Director.

Job Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Recreation, Landscape Management, Park Management or closely related field.

•A minimum of five (5) years' experience in the operation of public park facilities and recreation services or related activities. Horticultural certification or Landscape Architectural degree a plus.
•Two (2) years supervisory experience is desirable.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License status in the State of Florida.
•Ability to be certified in food handling and aquatic facility operations.
•Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, or a similar word processing program.
•Ability to meet and deal with the public in an effective and courteous manner.
•Ability to fluently speak, hear, read and write the English language.Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
•Applicants must complete all requirements established by the Village of Pinecrest for employment. This may include, but not limited to, a written examination, typing test, psychological screening to determine suitability for position, polygraph examination, comprehensive background investigation, and a job-related medical examination including a drug/alcohol screening test.
•Must be a non-smoker.
•The minimum requirements may be waived by the Village Manager.
