Job Description:

The Data Management intern will participate in a wide variety of the Development and Marketing department’s day-to-day activities. Duties can include data entry and processing for the Institute of Contemporary Art, inputting membership and development data into the donor database with the knowledge that the information will be accessed by a variety of staff and that accuracy is crucial to the fundraising efforts of the organization, conducting research on prospective funding sources, and organizing direct mailings. Candidates should have computer and administrative skills, and possess a strong attention to detail.

This internship is appropriate for undergraduate and graduate students from the following majors and related disciplines: Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Administration and Museum Studies.

 
The internship includes a parking pass during the tenure of the program.   ICA Miami internships may count towards academic credit, however, selected interns should review this process with their school and provide ICA Miami with the documentation needed for credit.  International and out-of-state candidates may apply, though, ICA Miami will not provide support for international visas, lodging or transportation.

Timeframe/Deadlines

Completed applications with writing samples must be submitted no later than Friday, June 15, 2018.  Incomplete applications or submissions received after this date will not be accepted.  

Selected interns will begin the program the week of July 2 and end August 10.  Specific days and time will be mutually agreed upon between the intern and museum department supervisor.
