The Wolfsonian­–Florida International University seeks an experienced Metadata Specialist to join their team of professionals. The position will work closely with the Collections Department to conduct quality control in the objects and library databases, identifying incomplete or inaccurate records and performing mass edits to standardize and clean records. Research museum metadata standards and use their data management knowledge to recommend and implement solutions for the museum's databases. Works with the Digital Assets Manager with ongoing projects to improve the accessibility and searchability of the digital collections, including the audit of digitization workflows and processes.
