Job Description:

We are looking for candidates to join our team who are curious – who have an appreciation for art, technology, Miami, live entertainment - and where they may intersect. Candidates should have outstanding customer service skills – a friendly, hospitable approach, gracious, and welcoming in greeting and engaging guests.
The Retail Associate will:
  • Warmly welcome customers, respond to questions, and offer guidance to create a highly positive shopping experience
  • Develop an understanding and knowledge of retail offerings to support sales
  • Coordinate with stock list to ensure store supply & product needs are fulfilled throughout the day; unpack merchandise from inventory and price as directed
  • Follow Superblue standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and display
  • Effectively complete customer transactions using POS system
  • Perform opening, closing and mid-shift duties to ensure a clean and ready retail store for customers
  • Manage crowd control and visitor traffic flow to allow for a smooth and efficient operation

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will:
  • 2+ years’ experience in customer service within the Arts / Entertainment / Hospitality / Customer Service industry preferred
  • Experience with POS/ticketing systems
  • Experience with cash handling
  • Ability to engage customers and drive sales
  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing, quirky, creative and joyful
  • Able to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and call-in shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, reach, kneel, stoop, and climb ladders
