About The Children's Voice Chorus (CVC)
CVC is a nonprofit, community organization with a mission to empower diverse young people in Miami with artistic and life skills through experiences in vocal music.
 
Position Description
The Director of Operations is responsible for translating the organization’s vision into executable actions and processes to actualize the mission. The Director of Operations manages the business operations, and oversight of the CVC programs in accordance with the organization's strategic plan and maintains the alignment of vision, mission, and values, while also demonstrating a supreme understanding of the needs of staff, students, and communities. The Director of Operations reports directly to Founder & Artistic Director and as called upon to the Board of Directors.  
 
Education, training, and experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, arts administration, education, or music/choral field or equivalent.

Duties and Responsibilities:
·      Supervise day-to-day operations
·      Further develop the operating strategies to achieve mission-oriented goals and objectives
·      Oversee the implementation of IT systems and processes for managing staff and student data (client relations management, outcomes and engagement, music library inventory, program quality, retention)
·      Capture and communicate organization metrics, connecting insights to action through the Board of Directors, leadership team, and staff
·      Observe and communicate feedback for parent, student, and partner satisfaction
·      Support all aspects of business and resource development efforts in collaboration with the Artistic Director and Board of Directors
