Job Description:

Basic Function
The Marketing Manager reports to Marketing Directors and works in cooperation with the creative services and digital teams. The Marketing Manager also works in close collaboration with programming, box office, group sales, education and development teams and with external marketing representatives. Primary responsibilities include coordinating traditional marketing and promotions for Center presentations, creating and carrying out strategic marketing plans to effectively sell ticketed and free events and providing marketing services to resident companies, arts partners, outside renters and other groups as assigned.
  • Working with the Marketing Directors, provides development and execution of marketing plans and budgets for initiatives as assigned.
  • Assists with media buys and monitors invoices. Provides marketing cost data for settlements.
  • Maintains rate cards for Center marketing services.
  • Monitors event calendar listings with key websites.
  • Generates copy for print, radio, email and digital initiatives.
  • Assists in planning, development and execution of subscription and single ticket campaigns.
  • Creates and submits requests for graphic design, emails and social media campaigns.
  • Works in close collaboration with the Center’s presenting partners to market joint presentations.
  • Coordinates database and list management with IT and the Box Office.
  • Participates actively in professional networking organizations.
  • Coordinates promotions with media, third-parties, Center sponsors and community partners.
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP, Marketing and Marketing Directors.

Job Requirements:

Ideal Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience and demonstrated success in marketing of the performing arts or related field.
  • Strong ad copy writing skills; strong communication skills.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Tessitura experience a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
  • Live entertainment marketing experience in the Miami market a plus.
