Since 1998, GableStage has been producing quality theatrical productions that encompass themes and ideas relevant to the multicultural South Florida community.  Located within the grounds of the iconic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, GableStage is one of the longest-running and most highly acclaimed theatre companies in South Florida. The company presents the most vital and cutting edge works of contemporary playwrights from around the world. At least least six productions and more than 150 performances are mounted annually at the Biltmore Hotel location.

Following the passing of the iconic Producing Artistic Director Joseph Adler in 2020, the board appointed theatre veteran Bari Newport as his successor. Bari opened her inaugural season with GableStage in November of 2021 with Arthur Miller's "The Price," to rave reviews.
